Today, the sense of excitement and wonder generated during the 16 stupendous days of the Olympic Games isreplaced by other emotions - pride, gratitude and elation. How do we sum up those emotions? How do we convey the heartfelt thanks, and the calm sense of satisfaction which all Sydneysiders - all Australians - are feelings as they reflect on the grandeur of the Olympic games in our greatest city?.
