Tennant Creek, is the second town after Katherine. Located between
Darwin and Alice Springs in the center of the Northern Territory.
History
recounts the gold rush in the 1930’s, as it is a city of miners where
many mines where discovered and exploited, around Nobles Nob and around
the Peko Road area.
Nowadays, Tennant Creek welcomes tourists who make a stop here to visit
the old gold mines and learn about their history.
