The sandstone escarpment to the east, soars up to 200 metres, creating waterfalls like Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls and Gunlom.

Itinerary: As the sun is rising over Kakadu, we drive along roads winding through savana woodland to the edge of the Arnhemland escarpment.
The Jim Jim Falls Gorge, area awaits us, and here, we bushwalk through the monsoon forest surrounded by 250m cliffs.
Then a short 4WD to Twin Falls - one of the prettiest areas in the Top End.
