Today it's still a thriving and vibrant city, the centre of town is a "living museum"of heritage buildings used for everyday business. The World Theatre, built in 1891 as an internatonal banking house, has been restored and is now a cinema, theatre, public art gallery and archival centre, and home to Lawson's Restaurant. |
