Two
possible itinerary for Brisbane:
Take the Pacific Highway, direction
Brisbane, be careful of the traffic, the road is prohibited to cyclists
in certain stretches.
Or take the road that runs parallel
to the ocean, which has a lovely landscape, with the architecture of
the houses sometimes of an extreme diversity.
Like the house caravans with their tiny jardins, or the other more luxurious
houses built on several of the islands.
Take your map, the "Brisbane Region",
very pratical for discovering places off the beaten path.

Brisbane is the greenest city in Australia. It is also the discovery
of a river, which is called the Brisbane River in nonor of the governor
of the époque, sir Thomas Mackdougall Brisbane, who was going to give
the original send-off of the thrust of Australian colonization, thusly
making.

parcours 1,949km Sydney/Brisbane |
|
1,949km
pedaled since leaving Sydney, including the road and all side
trips, in order to discover all these marvelous places, many
off the beaten path. After some flat tires, the stem of my bike
seat broken, the trip continues with its fascinating discoveries
and culture. During the trip from Sydney to Brisbane, l received
the typically warm welcome that l had known previously from
the very sympathico and friendly Australians.
Welcome to Brisbane! Best regards
Patrice. |
