Coffs harbour, from South West Rocks to Coffs Harbour: get back on the main road to Jerseyville and take the fork in the road towards clybucca to get onto the Pacific Highway direction Coffs harbour, the road is not too bad. On the High street after about 2km you arrive at Jetty Beach and its Marina. Oh yes! Three days of rain and not just a gentle sprinkle, but a powerful shower. The sun is not always with me, but it does one a lot of good sometimes, except of course when the roads get quite slippery, meaning l stayed on a few days until things cleared up a bit and took the time to see the dack country. |

On the Pacific Highway you'Il see plenty of banana plantations, as well as the Park of the Banana! And no l'm not kidding. Returning to Coffs Promenade I took a kayaking canoe to discover by its waterways Coffs Harbour. A congenial change for me to row instead of pedaling and through the water the occasion to visit all the lovely patios cafes and restaurants so welcoming when one is hot and thirsty. • Bikes can be rented as well to cycle around and see the sights all along the banks of the river. |
